As I uploaded last Monday's update, and my script automatically knocked off the last blog entry to put in the archive, I noticed that this meant the main page had exactly one year's blog entries. Then as I was pointlessly impressed at this coincidence I realised that somehow I had put the wrong date on the update (Tuesday instead of Monday), so actually it was one day under a year, not so impressive! It also crossed my mind that a whole year's worth of blog entries made this one hell of a big page. I have never noticed it because I tend only to look at the newest entries to check them, and also I have a very fast broadband connection. But for people with a slower connection this page may take a long time to load. So I have just changed the script to give only 5 blog entries per page. Don't worry, you are not loosing anything, but you will have to use the archives for the older pages from now on.
